Description
Fragmentary iron buckle, oval with circular cross-sectioned frame and pin, found to the left at waist level. An unidentifed object in the form of a copper-alloy strip - two fragments of a bent strip now broken at both ends - three rivet holes remain. Both found with Burial 3, incomplete and unidentified, from an Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Lower Farm, Bishop's Cleeve, Gloucestershire. Excavated by Kenneth Brown of Cheltenham Museum in July 1969.
