A lithographic print showing the circle of stones at the Belas Knap long barrow, after excavation in 1865. An irregularly shaped trench shows the stones exposed as a circle of flat slabs lying on or near the pre-barrow ground surface. Original sketch by H. M. Winterbotham, lithography by Vincent Brooks.
