Pale grey limestone piece, of sub-square section. One face is flat, while the opposing one curves, so that the object forms a wdge shape. Roughly dressed on all sufaces. From an evaluation at the Coal Research Establishment, Stoke Orchard, Gloucestershire. The probable site of a Medieval moated manor. Field work carried out by Cotswold Archaeological Trust in March 2001.
