Fragment of a quern or millstone from archaeological site at Stoke Road, Bishop's Cleeve. Work carried out by Cotswold Archaeological Trust in 1997. Made from burnt red sandstone (Upper Old Sandstone of Forest of Dean/Wye Valley). Sub-rectangular block with widely spaced grooves on the surface. Of Romano-British date.
