Peter Dick (designer), Winchcombe Pottery (maker)

Storage jar with locking lid made from thrown and turned stoneware with an iron glaze designed by Peter Dick and made by the Winchcombe Pottery. Jars with a locking lid of this type were developed by Dick from screw top lids which he had made at Abuja Pottery in Nigeria.
