Silver link belt cast with openwork designs of honesty seedheads designed and made by William Comyns & Sons. William Comyns company had been founded in 1859, but at the turn of the 20th century their work was showing Art Nouveau tendencies, and they specialised in waist clasps and buckles with stylised natural forms.
