Walnut headboard and footboard with carved decoration designed by Gordon Russell and made by Edgar Turner at Russell & Sons. The carving was carried out by Will Hart, who was a former member of the Guild of Handicraft who had stayed in Chipping Campden after the Guild closed in 1908. The bed was made as a marriage bed for Gordon and his wife Toni. The carving bears their initials and the date of their marriage.
