Rag rug, cotton woven in stripes of orange, grey and white retailed by Gordon Russell Ltd. Nikolaus Pevsner, while working at Gordon Russell Ltd., introduced German woven rag rugs for sale in the Wigmore Street showroom. They were inexpensive and light, and sold better than the heavier, more expensive rugs.
