Brass scoop for gold dust. Consists of deep circular bowl with flat rectangular extension forming the handle. Decorated with incised compass drawn ornament on the floor of the scoop's bowl. Probably produced by Asante people, Asante Region (Ghana). Collection of Capt Robert Powley Wild.
