Mounted black and white photograph of part of a painting showing Dr Edward Adrian Wilson, in foreground with sketch book, and team of dogs. The original painting is by Hugh G. Riviere (and Briton Riviere) and depicts Wilson (on right), in sledging clothes, perched on a loaded sledge (front section only in view), with a dog team of 5 (on left) harnessed to it, set against an Antarctic landscape. An accompanying label states that it is number 4 of a limited edition of five prints commissioned by J. Thomas MBE. 1914/Aug 1915?
