Man's waterproof helmet. Made of khaki green gabardine, with a knitted wool balaclava inside. Reaches down over shoulders. Has three buttons and buttonholes on front. Helmet manufactured by Burberry of London and Basingstoke. Worn by Dr Edward Adrian Wilson in the Antarctic, the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904).
