- DescriptionTurned bone handle, socketed at one end with an iron rivet, possibly to hold a brush or pen, of Post-Medieval date. Possibly lost by 19th century excavators of Leckhampton Camp barrow, Gloucestershire. Excavated by E.J. Burrow, W.H. Knowles, J.W. Gray and A.E.W.Paine in 1925. The team worked on behalf of the Bristol & Gloucestesrhire Archaeological Society and Cotteswold Naturalists' Field Club.
