Bowl, a complete Roman samian ware bowl dating from the 2nd century AD. The bowl is complete but has numerous cracks, the upper half of the bowl is burnished smooth while the lower half features the typical samian patterns under a border of hanging garlands. It was excavated in Tynemouth in 1876.
