Coin, a siliqua of Valens found in Cheltenham. The obverse shows a diademed, draped and cuirassed bust facing right, viewed from front. The reverse shows the emperor standing right holding winged victory in left hand, a labarum with the Chi-Rho in right hand. Minted in Arles, France.
