Shallow dished basket, or mat, of circular form. May have been used as a pot lid. Of coiled construction in red, brown and pale green. Central circular panel with four equi-distantly spaced rectangular panels arranged around centre. Hausa style work, probably collected in Ghana. Collection of Capt Robert Powley Wild.
