Dear Walker
I am so sorry but I cant undertake any more lectures or papers. I am overworked & want a rest & I have already engaged myself to do too many. Besides, I must earn a living & I have been neglecting to do that for some time & have done more gratuitous than paid work. Do come & see us when you return. I hope you will enjoy yourself in France.
Yrs. Ever
