THE OAKS,
BEACONSFIELD.
13 Nov. 1911
Dear Mr Emery Walker,
Now that the copy of the charming little volume issued in my honour has been distributed I must write you a few lines to express not only pleasure it was to me to see your name in the list of subscribers but my admiration of the photogravures for which you are responsible. I have had some experience, and they appear to be quite extraordinarily good, so much so that I am anxious to know whether any special improvements have recently been made in the process. I am sure you must have taken the utmost pains to [achieve] such results from very difficult subjects.
With kindest regards
Yours very sincerely
G. F. Warner[i]
