Description
Decorated sherd of a Bronze Age Beaker, found associated with a flint in chamber H of the Iron Age hillfort, Leckhampton Camp, Gloucestershire. The sherd is of a fine brownish fabric with incised cross-hatched panels, illustrated in report. Excavated by E.J. Burrow, W.H. Knowles, J.W. Gray and A.E.W.Paine in 1925. The team worked on behalf of the Bristol & Gloucestesrhire Archaeological Society and Cotteswold Naturalists' Field Club.
