Fragment from a stone mortar from archaeological excavations at Stoke Road, Bishop's Cleeve. Work carried out by Cotswold Archaeological trust in 1997. About one quarter of a stone mortar of Oolitic limestone. Originally a circular vessel with projecting ribs, one of which remains. Of Romano-British date.
