Letter from Hilary Douglas Pepler to Emery Walker dated 25th July 1914 concerning the loan of a book (found in a copy of “A Royal Warren or Picturesque Rambles in the Isle of Purbeck” by Charles Robinson)

25. VII.14
Dear Emery Walker.
Thank you so much for lending me this book, even though it makes us so dissatisfied with the “progress” of 50 years. It is still a beautiful coast & much of it is unspoilt even though Hammersmith inhabitants go [& reside] there!
Sincerely yours
Douglas Pepler[i]
