Standing woman of elongated form made of brass on a wooden base with bucket. Her right arm is raised and contains a wooden pounder. The figure is decorated with incised and punched decoration. Made in Dahomey (Republic of Benin) for the tourist market, although the register states made by the native people of Gold Coast (Ghana). Collection of Capt Robert Powley Wild.
