The West Prospect of the Spaw and Town of Cheltenham. Tho's Robins Delin depict 1748. This mineral has been discover'd about 30 years. In An 1719 Gabriel Davis, Mason, receiving a cure of a sore leg by ye water, Sunk a well & laid in stone which was afterwards palisaded round & walled in. But not in any great repute till 1740. Cap't Henry Skillecorne the Present Proprietor has since made a handsome walk & Additional Building.
