Axehead, a neolithic polished stone axehead found at Leckhampton, Gloucestershire. A narrow, thin axehead with an irregular cutting edge and sides that taper to a narrow butt end. The stone, which is dark brown in colour has been identified as limestone. From the collection of George Backhouse Witts.
