Model, an Egyptian carved wooden figure of a seated rower. It has been painted brown with a white costume and black hair. It has a hole by each hand to hold oars but the oars are missing. It would have originally been intended to row a model funerary boat which would be placed in a tomb. The model was found in the debris of the Temple of Mentuhotep II at Deir el Bahri, 11th Dynasty.
