A neolithic polished greenstone axehead found within a eight-mile radius of Snowshill, Gloucestershire. Found in the stock pile of a mason's yard. The cutting edge is narrow the sides taper in to form a narrow butt end. Symmetrical cross-section. Made from a dark, grey/green mottled greenstone with petrological identification Group I, St.Ives area, Cornwall
