Abraded body sherd with black/brown exterior and red/brown interior. Decorated with tooled horizontal line and traces of stamping. Identified as Malvernian B1 fabric, oolitic with shell (ID by E. Morris), dating to the Iron Age. From a settlement site called King's Beeches on Cleeve Hill, Southam parish, Gloucestershire. Excavated by J.W. Gray and G.W.S. Brewer in 1903-04.
