Miniture private press book entitled 'Carmina Sapphica' by Horace. Printed by the Ashendene Press for Queen Mary's Dolls House, 1923. The dolls house was a gift to Queen Mary from the royal family and the people of Britain. Contributions were made by 1,500 tradesmen, artists and authors. The dolls house was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens on a scale of 1:12- one inch to the foot and is a record of a royal family might live during 1920's in Britain.
