Pebble of quartzite, possibly used in heating and cooking, although label also suggests used in production of pottery, probably dating to the Iron Age period. From a settlement site called King's Beeches on Cleeve Hill, Southam parish, Gloucestershire. Excavated by J.W. Gray and G.W.S. Brewer in 1903-04.
