Part of a dish, Romano-British black burnished ware pottery. Slightly rounded base, wall flares out slightly with a simple, rounded rim. Lustrous burnished exterior with 'scribble' marks on the under side of the base. A surface find during excavations at Ireley Farm, Hailes, Gloucestershire. Site excavated by Clifford and Adlard in March and April 1945.
