Copper alloy winged axe dating to the Later Bronze Age. The wings are placed in the middle section and are bent over across the faces of the axe. Loop on one side. The cutting edge is fan-shaped with evidence of sharpening marks. The axe is almost in perfect condition save for some damage to the very upper end. Found at Ivinghoe Beacon, Buckinghamshire.
