Book clasp of Post-Medieval date, from an archaeological site at Stoke Road, Bishop's Cleeve. Work carried out by Cotswold Archaeological Trust in 1997. Made from copper alloy; cruciform cut from a square of sheet metal. Central boss; one of the arms is extended to form a bent back clasp. Circular perforation in opposite corner to clasp. Edges are denticulated.
