Woman's parasol, with silk cover printed with design of birds, fruit and flowers. Wooden handle with bamboo end and blue and yellow silk tassel. Designed and made by Liberty in about 1920-30. The frame is made by S Fox & Company. This particular style of frame known as the 'Paragon' was first produced in 1852. It is likely that Liberty would have bought their frames and then made the covers and completed the parasols in their workshops.
