A collection of 17 bags of painted window glass, sorted according to colour and pattern. One of the batches is accompanied by a sheet of paper on which is written "Old stained window glass. Deerhurst Church, 15th-16th century". Below this is written "Dug up by Algernon Strickland in 1869" but this has been crossed out. The glass is an assortment on English and French work of the 15th to 17th century. The Deerhurst connection seems doubtful according to the correspondence.
