Animal remains consisting of 947 fragments of animal bone. Cattle 55%, sheep/goat 23%, horse 9%, pig 8%, dog 2%, cat 1%, fowl 1% and red deer, hare and goose (under 1% each). Evidence of butchery marks. Also evidence of small mammals such as vole, frog and toad, possibly post-depositional. From excavations at Home Farm, Bishops Cleeve (BC94) by the Cotswold Archaeological Trust, April to May 1994.
