Cup and saucer by William Howson Taylor and made at Ruskin Pottery with iridescent, 'Kingfisher' blue lustre. Howson Taylor was interested in glazes, developing lustre and high temperature crystalline and flambe glazes for his pottery. This Kingfisher lustre was especially popular.
