Silver fruit bowl designed and made by Sidney Reeve. It depicts the twelve months and zodiac signs. The panels alternate between images of men doing seasonal activities with paired astrological symbols against a cloud or wave-like background. The piece was a commission for a Leicester family, the Goddards, and Reeve's was responding to Mrs Goddard's interest in astrology.
