Round English walnut dining table inlaid with ebony and holly stringing designed by Peter Waals. Commissioned by Percy Tubbs FRIBA for his son Cecil Tubbs, as a wedding present. Percy Tubbs was interested in the Arts and Crafts Movement, and employed Waals and the Bucknells on several projects. The table extends by the addition of an extra leaf and is en suite with six small and two arm chairs.
