Round table made of English walnut. Designed by Peter Waals for Arthur Mitchell's Glenfall House in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. Used in the smoking room/library. It is possible that Waals adopted this form of leg, which changes from square to octagonal, from C F A Voysey, for whom he had done work in 1921-3.
