Rectangular table or sideboard made from walnut designed by R D Russell and made by Gordon Russell Ltd. The simplicity of this piece shows the very different approach to design of Dick Russell, who was eleven years younger than his brother, Gordon, and was interested in the Modern Movement rather than the Arts and Crafts. It was used in Gordon and Toni Russell's home at Kingcombe, and is probably a one-off piece.
