Serving table made from wenge and yew. Designed by Alan Peters as a project for Practical Woodworking magazine sponsored by Evo-Stik, and the design and full instructions on how to make it were published. It reflects Peters interest in Japanese design, but in its dramatic use of a constructional feature, Peters felt it represented a 1980s development of the work of Gimson and the Barnsleys.
