Hand-made earthenware tile with white slip and painted decoration designed by William de Morgan. Some of De Morgan's early designs were influenced by William Morris. The pattern for this tile Bedford Park Daisy derives from Morris's wallpaper Daisy (1864) and his Columbine design for tiles.
