Earthenware bowl painted in underglaze colours painted by Grace Barnsley. She was the daughter of Sidney Barnsley, and was trained in pottery decoration by family friends Alfred and Louise Powell. Following the Powell's example she started painting blanks for Wedgwood, but later set up her own pottery.
