Dish of thrown and turned stoneware with iron glaze and glaze trailed decoration by Ray Finch. It was originally made as a present from Gordon Russell to Nikolaus Pevsner, but the inscription was incorrect, and it was kept by the Russells instead. This snake-like decoration balancing a central band was aprticularly used by Ray Finch in the 1960s and 1970s.
