Figure [mortuary] of woman, slender, standing, head slightly down, hands clasped across stomach. Fine white earthenware, press-moulded (vertical join through shoulders) with opening beneath. Her hair is raised into a chignon, tilted forward, secured by a comb and a band; she wears a long-sleeved (covering hands), high-waisted gown tied with a long, narrow sash below the breast, and a shawl over the shoulders; turned-up toes of shoes peep out from gown. Remains of clear colourless (?) glaze from forehead to below knees; traces of red pigment on back right of shawl.
