A double-ended drum with a wooden, waisted body. Both ends with hide drumskins. Twisted leather strips run between the ends of the drum creating the tension on the skins. The register states the object is a Lagos (Nigeria) drum and stick, although there is now no stick. Possibly collected in Ghana. Collection of Capt Robert Powley Wild.
