Spear, only the iron head survives, broken away through the wooden shaft. The spearhead with incised cross-hatching at the butt end. Split-socketed with small brass plates and iron rivets to hold the wooden shaft, the remains of which are still visible. The register states it is a Fulani spear but it is actually of Mossi (Burkina Faso) style, although it was probably collected in Ghana. Collection of Capt Robert Powley Wild.
