Dagger probably from northern Nigeria, probably of Hausa manufacture. Wooden handle with expanded pommel and short hand-grip and sloping shoulders. Steel blade with a distinctive flattened S-shaped section, tapers unevenly from both sides to the point. Collected by Lieut Col Robert L. Beasley DSO between 1901 and 1906.
