Agricultural implement from Bornu or Bauchi regions of northern Nigeria. Wooden, T-shaped and of circular cross-section, one of the arms longer than the other, but both taper down to a sharp point. Towards the bottom of the shaft is a skin hand grip and the butt is expanded. Collected by Lieut Col Robert L. Beasley DSO between 1901 and 1906.
