Walnut with ebony stringing, ebony chamfered uprights and a drop in leather seat designed by Peter Waals. This was one of the first pieces of Cotswold craftsmanship acquired by the Museum. It was bought from the 1937 Guild of Gloucestershire Craftsmen Exhibition at Painswick for £8.10s.
