A coloured advertisement for Sunlight Soap, made by Lever Brothers Ltd., Port Sunlight, England. It shows an aproned lady hoisting up a line of washing with a prop; her laundry basket contains a bar of Sunlight Soap. The advertisement on the back of the picture insists on the purity of Sunlight Soap and offers £1000 for 'any adulteration found in its composition'.
